Jo Ann Sturm is the founder of Sturm Reporting, a St. Louis court reporting firm serving lawyers and law firms throughout the St. Louis metropolitan area and southern Illinois in the areas of court reporting and litigation support.
Jo Ann Sturm first began reporting in 1978 and has stayed on the leading edge of technological advancements as the profession has evolved over the decades, all the while continuing to provide accurate, timely and professional court reporting in a wide variety of civil matters. Jo Ann has been providing Realtime hookups for attorneys since 1991, and in 1992 she served as the first broadcast captioner in the state of Missouri, providing captioning services for KSDK in St. Louis.
Jo Ann’s court reporting experience covers the full range of civil litigation, with particular experience and expertise in medical malpractice, patent litigation, and other complex matters involving highly technical testimony. She has been reporting for both the company and the unions in Anheuser-Busch labor arbitrations since 1986, and she has conducted reporting for Monsanto patent litigation since 2001.
Ms. Sturm is licensed in Missouri as a Certified Court Reporter (CCR) and in Illinois as a Certified Shorthand Reporter (CSR). She is also certified nationally as a Registered Professional Reporter (RPR) by the National Court Reporters Association.
